Saturday, March 19, 2005Accepting myself"if you can't accept yourself as is, you'll always find something wrong no matter how many changes you make." wat a right moment to come across this line. it's taken from my daily horoscope. yes, i'm feeling very insecure today. in fact, these days. i lost my confidence. i dun like looking at the mirror. but well i have to live with the bad hair days and feeling fat days. i am how i feel i am. if i feel beautiful, no one can convince me that i'm not. similarly, if i feel ugly, no one can convince me that i'm not. so lessons to be learnt? first, never mess around with your fringe yourself. yeah hair grows. but we're talking bout 1-2cm a month. second, never convince yourself of your pseudo-hunger at the suggestion of food. i dun need to prove anything. i eat without thinking. the image in the mirror dun define me. i define myself. amaranthine froze in time on 9:09 PM |
